Leading psychologist Susan Engel's brilliantly insightful article for the Boston Globe detailing the seven abilities and dispositions that kids should acquire or improve upon while in school is just so heartwarming.
Some of the capabilities she noted were obvious; but some were actually not that intuitive (even though I've been a parent for a while now) so I was real happy to find out what they were. :o)
